In parallel to this, developing a deep passion for the instrument is of the utmost importance. (Good quality education will lay the foundation on which everything else will follow.)
When children are still very young, it could be detrimental to ask them to practise and perform in the same way as other pianists.
As we truly want your little ones to be successful and develop a love for the piano, we always tailor our piano lessons to be both super-educational and enjoyable for children of this age group!
It is always heart-breaking to meet adults who played in their youth and gave up at a later stage due to an inappropriate education offered by strict and hostile piano teachers. (You will not find this at CMA!)
Giving the love of music to your children is essential as we know that it will determine their future relationship with the instrument and with music learning as a whole.
Your child’s association with the piano will largely be down to their piano teacher, that is why we always select our piano teachers with the utmost care. (We only recruit excellent piano teachers who know how to work with young children!)
