Toddler playing guitar

Guitar lessons for toddlers

Unless they are exceptionally tall for their age, very young children are usually too small to hold a guitar. For this reason, we often start their guitar education using a Ukulele, which is essentially a smaller version of a guitar.

As their concentration span is also quite limited, we always ensure that their guitar lessons are incredibly varied to keep them interested and motivated.

We usually teach them easy melodies inspired by nursery rhymes that they are familiar with and simplify guitar chords which can otherwise be too large to reach for their little hands.

At The Children’s Music Academy, we always ensure that our guitar lessons suit your children perfectly and offer a brilliant guitar education in accordance with their age and ability.

At a young age, developing an interest in music and being exposed to guitar playing is even more important than performing. It is an age at which children must have fun with music while learning fundamental guitar skills.

As our excellent guitar teachers are fantastic when it comes to teaching very young children, you can be ensured that they will approach them in a very suitable manner, by using musical games that will make the whole learning process extremely enjoyable and appropriate.
